These terms govern your use of the Gen AI Studio app. Please read section 5 (credits), section 6 (subscriptions and billing) and section 8 (acceptable use) carefully — they set out what you pay for, how renewals work, and what you may not create.
By downloading, installing or using Gen AI Studio (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These terms supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), which governs your licence to use the app itself. Where these terms and the Apple Standard EULA conflict on the subject of your licence to the app, the Apple Standard EULA prevails. These terms govern everything else: your account, credits, purchases, the content you submit, and the results you generate.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and who receives it, and forms part of these terms.
Gen AI Studio lets you generate images and videos from text prompts and from reference images or videos that you supply. Generation is performed by third-party artificial intelligence models that we make available through their providers' commercial interfaces. Which models are available, what each one costs in credits, and what parameters it accepts are managed on our servers and change over time.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in your country, to use the app. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms. You must not use the app if you are barred from doing so under any applicable law or sanctions programme.
The app creates an anonymous account automatically when you first launch it. There is no sign-up, and no username, email address or password. Your account is identified by a random identifier stored securely on your device.
Credits are sold as one-off packs and through auto-renewing subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase.

"Your content" means the prompts you write and the images and videos you upload.
You must not use Gen AI Studio to create, upload or distribute:
You must also not reverse-engineer, scrape, resell or programmatically abuse the service, circumvent credit accounting or usage limits, or operate multiple accounts to obtain credits you are not entitled to.
Generations may be automatically screened for prohibited content, both by us and by the AI providers. A generation may be refused or blocked as a result.
Generation requires sending your prompt and your uploaded reference files to the third-party provider whose model you selected. The name of the model is shown in the app before you generate, and the providers we use are listed in our Privacy Policy. Those providers process your content under their own terms and policies in addition to these terms. If you do not agree to your content being sent to them, do not use the generation features.
We provide the service on an ongoing but not guaranteed basis. Models may be added, changed, repriced or withdrawn — including because a provider withdraws them or restricts them in your region — and features may change or be discontinued. We aim to give notice of material changes in the app, but a specific model's continued availability is not something we can promise.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and the service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost credits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you, and you may have additional statutory rights as a consumer that these terms do not affect.
You may stop using the service at any time by deleting the app; to delete your account and data, see the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms — in particular section 8 — or where we are required to by law or by an AI provider. Where a breach is serious, in particular content involving minors, termination is immediate and permanent, and any remaining credits are forfeited. Otherwise we will act proportionately and, where practical, warn you first. Sections 7, 9, 12 and 13 survive termination.
We may update these terms as the service changes. When we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date above and give notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
For questions about these terms, billing problems, or reports of content that breaches section 8, use the support link on the Gen AI Studio product page on the App Store. We aim to respond within 30 days, and sooner for reports of prohibited content.
