Subscription Terms
These terms cover everything you can buy inside Feastly (锋味十足): the auto-renewing subscription and the one-off credit packs. They explain what you get, what it costs, when you are charged, how to cancel, and how refunds work. They form part of the Terms of Service.
1. What these terms cover
All purchases in Feastly are made through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your purchase is therefore also governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. These terms describe our side of the arrangement: what the products are, what they grant, and how they behave.
Prices shown in the app come directly from the App Store in your local currency, including any applicable taxes, and are the authoritative price for your storefront.
2. What you can buy
Feastly's in-app purchases come in two kinds: an auto-renewing subscription, and one-off credit packs. The full, current list of what is on sale — with names, prices and what each one grants — is the purchase screen in the app and the App Store product page for your storefront.
2.1 Auto-renewing subscription
| Type | Auto-renewing subscription |
|---|---|
| Length of each period | 1 week, renewing weekly until you cancel |
| Title | Shown on the purchase screen in the app and on the subscription's App Store product page |
| Price | Shown before you confirm, in your local currency and including any applicable taxes, on the purchase screen and the App Store product page. Prices are set per storefront and can change without an app update, so that display — not this page — is the authoritative price for you |
| What each period grants | A number of credits, granted at the start of each paid period. The number for the current offer is shown on the purchase screen before you confirm |
2.2 Credit packs
One-off credit packs are sold as consumable purchases. They do not renew, are charged once, and add credits to your balance immediately on successful purchase. How many packs are on offer, and their exact names, prices and credit amounts, are shown on the purchase screen in the app and on the App Store product page for your storefront; because prices are set per storefront and can be adjusted without an app update, the in-app display is authoritative.
The subscription charges you every week until you cancel and grants credits every period. A credit pack charges you once and grants credits once. If you only need credits occasionally, a pack is the option that does not recur.
3. Billing and auto-renewal
For the auto-renewing subscription:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the cost of the renewal then in effect.
- Subscriptions may be managed, and auto-renewal turned off, in your Apple Account settings after purchase — see section 4.
- No partial-period refunds. Cancelling part way through a paid period does not trigger a pro-rata refund; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Credit packs are charged once at confirmation of purchase and never renew.
If a renewal payment fails, Apple enters a billing-retry period. During that time the app will prompt you to update your payment method. If a grace period applies to your subscription, your access continues during it; if the payment is never resolved, the subscription lapses and the entitlement ends.
4. How to cancel
Cancellation is handled by Apple, not by us — we cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Select Feastly, then Cancel Subscription.
You can also open the App Store, tap your profile picture, then Subscriptions. On a Mac, use App Store → your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Until then your subscription remains active and you keep everything it grants. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current one ends.
Uninstalling Feastly, or deleting your Feastly account, does not stop billing. The subscription lives in your Apple Account and must be cancelled there, or it will keep renewing.
5. Free trials and offers
We may offer an introductory offer — a free trial or a discounted first period — configured in App Store Connect. When one is available, the app shows it on the purchase screen with its exact length and price before you confirm.
- Eligibility is determined by Apple, generally once per Apple Account (and once per Family Sharing group) per subscription group. If you have used an introductory offer before, the app will show the standard price instead.
- A trial converts automatically into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where an equivalent trial period is offered.
6. Price changes
We may change subscription prices. Any change is delivered through Apple and follows Apple's rules: Apple notifies you in advance, and depending on the type of change your subscription either continues at the new price or requires your explicit consent before renewing at it. If you do not agree to a price increase where consent is required, the subscription will not renew and will lapse at the end of the current period. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Credit-pack prices may also change; a change applies only to purchases made after it takes effect.
7. How credits work
- What credits are. Credits are a licence to use metered features of the service (such as recognition and menu generation). They are not money, not a stored-value or prepaid instrument, and have no cash value. They cannot be transferred between accounts, sold, or exchanged for cash.
- How they are granted. Subscription credits are granted at the start of each paid period. Credit-pack credits are granted once, on successful purchase.
- How they are consumed. Each metered action deducts a set number of credits. The current cost of each action is shown in the app; costs may be adjusted as models and capabilities change, and any change applies only to actions taken afterwards.
- If you run out. Nothing is lost — the app takes you to the purchase screen and you can continue afterwards.
- Expiry. Credits purchased as consumable in-app purchases — and the credits granted for the first billing period of a subscription — never expire and remain valid indefinitely. Beginning with the second billing period, credits granted for each subscription period expire at the end of that billing period. When credits are spent, those with the earliest expiration are consumed first, and non-expiring credits are used last. Credits granted through promotions, sign-up bonuses, or free monthly allowances are subject to their own validity periods, as disclosed at the time of the grant.
- Your balance is server-authoritative. The balance held on our servers is the definitive record, not any figure cached on a device.
8. Refunds
All App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, under Apple's policies. We cannot issue a refund directly, and we cannot reverse an Apple charge.
To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, find the purchase and submit a request. Apple decides the outcome.
If Apple grants a refund, Apple notifies us and we adjust your account accordingly: the entitlement purchased is revoked, and credits granted by that purchase and not yet consumed are deducted. Where the law gives you a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content, that right applies as the law provides; note that in many jurisdictions it ends once the digital content has been delivered and consumed with your consent.
If something went wrong on our side — you were charged but the entitlement or credits did not arrive — contact [email protected] first. We can usually resolve delivery problems without a refund, and often faster.
9. Family Sharing
Whether the subscription can be shared with your Family Sharing group is shown on its App Store product page. Where Family Sharing is enabled for a product, the entitlement is shared according to Apple's rules; credits, however, are granted to the purchasing account's Feastly account and are not divided between family members. Consumable credit packs are never shareable.
10. Entitlement, devices and restore
- Server-authoritative entitlement. Your subscription status and credit balance are held on our servers, not derived from what is stored on a device. Signing in with the same Feastly account on another device gives you the same entitlement and balance.
- Guest accounts. A purchase made on a guest account is bound to that guest account. Because a guest account is anchored to your device, upgrade to a registered account before switching devices, or the entitlement may become unreachable. See the Terms of Service.
- Restore purchases. The purchase screen has a "Restore" control for re-claiming a subscription bought previously with the same Apple Account. It is deliberately user-initiated only — the app never silently re-runs purchases in the background.
- Renewals and cancellations propagate automatically. Apple notifies our servers of renewals, cancellations, refunds and revocations, and your entitlement is updated accordingly, including when you cancel outside the app.
- Already subscribed. If you already hold an active subscription, the app routes you to subscription management rather than letting you buy a duplicate.
11. Minors
Purchases must be made by someone able to enter into a binding contract. If you are a minor, you may purchase only with the consent of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms and is responsible for the charges. We recommend that guardians enable Ask to Buy and Screen Time purchase restrictions on devices used by children. Where Ask to Buy is enabled, a purchase stays pending until the guardian approves it; the app shows it as awaiting approval and grants nothing until approval arrives.
12. If the service changes or ends
If we discontinue a paid feature or the service itself while you hold an active subscription, we will give notice in the app, stop new charges taking effect where we are able to, and — to the extent the law requires and Apple's process allows — help you obtain a refund of any prepaid, unused period. Credits already granted but unused have no cash value and are not refundable in cash, but we will not withdraw them before the end of any period you have paid for.
If we suspend or terminate your account for a breach of the Terms of Service, unused credits may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version number and effective date at the top of this page always reflect the current version. Material changes are notified in the app before they take effect. Changes never apply retroactively to a subscription period you have already paid for.
